I manage an apartment building and a small crew came to move out one of our tenants. Of the three in the crew one man was absolutely disrespectful to me and failed to understand what I was asking of him after repeatedly pointing out that he could not disable the elevator while still packing items in the suite. Later I heard from tenants below and from the suite next door about banging of large items as though dropped from some height. This also happened on the first floor. I'd give a zero, but the other two in the crew were quite reasonable.

Response:  We do apologize for the inconveniences you mention.
  Our client was your tenant and our job was to get their move done as safely and quickly as possible.
  Other tenants navigating around furniture, boxes and other possessions or squeezing into the elevator exposes them to risks that are not readily apparent to them. While we understand your concerns, it would also not have been proper to pass on to you responsibility for accidents that resulted from following your instructions or not to respect our customers move expectations.
  The usual process of securing an elevator, for exclusive move use, has evolved in response to limiting exposure of risks by getting the move done without leaving possessions exposed and by loading as quickly as possible.
